Company’s details and history

Habjan Transport is a leading company in international road transport that has been organising transportation across most countries of the European Union, Switzerland, and the Balkans for more than 40 years through the use of its own heavy goods vehicles and an extensive partner network.

The beginnings of Habjan Transport d.o.o. date back to 1978, when the founder Andrej Habjan started an independent cargo transportation activity. The company, which was first established as a family business, has expanded over the years into a company with more than 60 self-owned heavy goods vehicles, and its own mechanical workshop employing over 90 people.

The company's history tells a story of perseverance, boldness, and trust.

The success of the company can be contributed to the perseverance and courage of Andrej Habjan and Dragica Habjan, who never stopped believing in each other, and never surrendered despite numerous business challenges being thrown at them on their business journey. They faced all challenges courageously, while, at the same time, continuing their clearly defined entrepreneurial path with perseverance, boldness, and confidence in themselves. With respect for their work, they always faced the future with optimism and have thus written a business story of success. Their way of thinking has also been passed on to their children Andreja, Mojca, and Marko, who help in creating the future of the Logistics company.

As the cofounder of the company Andrej Habjan always likes to say: “One who does not perceive business as a sport, will never succeed in it.”
